Mariel Abreu is an Emerging Markets credit analyst in the International Fixed Income Division at T. Rowe Price. She is a Vice President of the International Funds and the Multi-Sector Account Portfolios and a member of the Investment Advisory Committee of the Emerging Markets Corporate Bond Fund and the Emerging Markets Corporate Multi-Sector Account Portfolio. Mariel has been covering Latin America since 2007 in both sell side and buy side roles. Prior to T. Rowe Price, Mariel was a lead equity analyst at HSBC Securities, Inc., covering Latin American banks and diversified financials. Mariel earned a B.S. in accounting from APEC University in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She has an M.B.A. in finance and accounting from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and is an AFP (Advanced Finance Program) alumni of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She is a Series 7, 63, 86, and 87 registered representative.
