Len has handled tax, accounting, and regulatory issues for the Emerging Markets Investors Alliance since 2014. Len also runs his own CPA firm, which he started 25 years ago. Len provides financial services including accounting, bookkeeping, and tax services to individuals and small companies across a variety of service industries.
Prior to starting his own firm, Len worked at the New York subsidiary of Greig Fester Limited, a private British Lloyds reinsurance broker, where he served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and member of the local board of directors. Len was responsible for financial oversight of the human resource, investments, and accounting departments.
Len has also worked for Coca-Cola Export Corporation and for Macmillan Publishers as a financial analyst, and as the controller of trucking company Kirby & Kirby.
Len has a CPA license and is a Member of the American Institute of CPAs. He earned an MBA in finance with a concentration in international business from New York University's Stern School of Business. Len received his bachelor's degree from CUNY's Brooklyn College, where he served in the student government and as president of his fraternity.
Len has a commitment to life-long learning and life-long earning. This began when Len worked full-time while attending college and graduate school and continues to this day. Currently, Len loves listening to Brazilian jazz, cooking Mediterranean cuisine, and languages, dabbling in Italian and Spanish.
