Sophia Matthews is a Junior Analyst at the Alliance and an undergraduate student at Brown University. At Brown, Sophia studies International Relations with a regional focus on the Middle East. Prior to joining the Alliance, Sophia held internships at One Black Fish, a strategy consultancy in New York; Norsk klimastiftelse, an environmental think tank in Norway; and in corporate law at Sidley Austin LLP in London. Sophia has also worked as a Teaching Assistant and a Research Assistant at Brown’s Institute for Environment and Society and Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs respectively. Sophia speaks French, Spanish, Chinese, and Arabic.
